Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and [Company legal name] ("Leasvo," "we," "us"). They apply when you use the Leasvo website, apps, and services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. What Leasvo is, and what it isn't

Leasvo helps you understand the options for ending a vehicle lease. It reads documents you upload, such as your lease contract, payoff quotes, and offers, and calculates estimates of what each option may cost.

Leasvo provides informational estimates only. It is not legal, tax, financial, dealer, broker, or lending advice. Leasvo does not negotiate, broker, finance, buy, sell, or legally represent you in any vehicle transaction, and it is not a dealer, lender, broker, or law or accounting firm.

Estimates may differ from the final amounts charged by your leasing company, a dealer, a buyer, your state's motor vehicle agency, a tax authority, or an inspection company. Leasing companies, dealers, and states each have their own rules, and they change. Always confirm payoff amounts, taxes, fees, transfer eligibility, third-party buyout rules, title requirements, and lease-end charges directly with the right party before you act. You are responsible for the decisions you make.

Some features use automated tools, including artificial intelligence, to read documents and write summaries. They can misread a document or miss something. Check what Leasvo reads from your documents against the documents themselves.

2. Who can use Leasvo

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use the Service. The Service is intended for vehicle leases in the United States.

3. Your account

Keep your password private and tell us right away at support@leasvo.com if you think someone else has used your account. You're responsible for what happens under your account. Give us accurate information, and keep your email address current so you can receive receipts and password reset links.

4. Your information and documents

You keep ownership of the information and documents you provide. You give us permission to store, process, and analyze them, including through the service providers described in our Privacy Policy, only to provide and improve the Service for you, keep it secure, and meet legal obligations.

Only upload documents that you have the right to share, such as documents about your own lease. Don't upload anyone else's personal information without their permission.

The quality of Leasvo's estimates depends on the information you give it. Missing, outdated, or incorrect information leads to less reliable estimates.

5. Plans and payments

The Free Calculator costs nothing. The Lease Exit Report and Lease Exit Pro are one-time payments for one lease case, not subscriptions. Prices are shown before you pay. If you upgrade a lease case from the Lease Exit Report to Lease Exit Pro, what you paid for the Report is credited toward Pro. Payments are processed by Stripe, and we never see or store your full card number.

Lease Exit Pro includes running and re-running the Pro analysis for 30 days after you buy it. After that, your last analysis stays available to view.

Before you buy a plan or generate a report, we'll ask you to confirm that you understand Leasvo provides informational estimates only.

Refunds: If you haven't generated your report yet, you can get a full refund within 14 days of purchase. Once a report has been generated, we refund only if something on our side went wrong, for example the report couldn't be generated or contains a calculation error, or we couldn't read your documents. Email support@leasvo.com with your lease case and we'll respond within 2 business days. When a payment is refunded, the plan it bought ends on that lease case. If you upgraded from the Lease Exit Report to Lease Exit Pro, the upgrade and the Report are separate purchases: refunding the upgrade returns what you paid for it, and you keep the Lease Exit Report.

Taxes, if any, are [included in / added to] the price shown.

6. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the Service. For example, don't:

• break the law or anyone else's rights while using it;
• upload malware, or files that aren't what they claim to be;
• try to get into other people's accounts or data, or test, scan, or overload our systems without our written permission;
• scrape, copy, resell, or reverse engineer the Service, except where the law allows it; or
• use the Service to give others professional advice or to run a dealer, brokerage, or lending business.

7. Our content

The Service, including its software, design, text, and calculations, belongs to Leasvo and its licensors. You may use reports and scripts the Service creates for you for your own personal purposes, including sharing them with your leasing company, a dealer, or a buyer.

8. Other companies' services

The Service may link to, or work with, other companies' services, such as Stripe for payments. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to them, and we aren't responsible for them. Leasvo isn't affiliated with, or endorsed by, any leasing company, manufacturer, dealer, or buyer it mentions.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We don't promise that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any estimate will match what you are actually charged or offered.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Leasvo will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, savings, or data, arising from your use of the Service or any decision you make based on it. Our total liability for any claim about the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or $100. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

11. Ending your use

You can stop using the Service at any time, and delete your account from your account page. Deleting it is permanent, and payments for plans are not refunded because of it [unless the refund policy above says otherwise]. Uploaded files are deleted 90 days after a lease case's last activity, as described in our Privacy Policy, so keep your own copies. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms or puts the Service or other people at risk. Sections that by their nature should survive, such as disclaimers and limits of liability, survive after your use ends.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If a change is significant, we'll tell you by email or in the Service before it takes effect. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, the updated Terms apply.

13. Governing law and disputes
